Position Summary:
Aphora Health is seeking a Human Resources Manager who combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution. This role owns the development of Aphora’s HR strategy and serves as the trusted HR advisor to the CEO.
Although a non–people leader, the HR Manager has the authority needed to manage vendors and suppliers, and to hold internal teams accountable.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Leadership
- Develop and execute an early-stage HR strategy for scale
- Serve as the trusted advisor to the CEO and other senior leaders
- Build foundational HR infrastructure
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships
HR Operations and Employee Experience
- Primary HR contact for employees
- Manage onboarding and offboarding
- Support employee relation matters
- Coach managers on performance and policy
Benefits and Compensation Administration
- Administer benefits
- Liaise with PEO partners
- Coordinate payroll
- Support compensation reviews
Compliance, HRIS, and Process Optimization
- Ensure multi-state compliance
- Maintain HR policies and handbook
- Administer HRIS workflows and reporting
- Implement HR process improvements
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
- 5+ years progressive HR experience
- Strong HR operations and compliance background
- SHRM CP/SCP preferred
