Position Summary:
The Account Manager owns customer success and growth. This role is responsible for supporting the broker, onboarding new employer clients, driving employee-to-member adoption, managing ongoing employer relationships, and ensuring long-term retention and expansion.
This position is highly visible and revenue critical. The Account Manager serves as the primary relationship owner and works closely with sales and operations teams to deliver measurable results.
This role includes a combination of remote (home office) work and in-person meetings with brokers and employer clients. The ideal candidate is able to travel as needed to support relationship management, client engagement, and program adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service clients (brokers and employers) by soliciting and providing information leading to increased retention and business
- Drive conversion and ongoing engagement in Aphora Health’s program
- Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers and employer clients
- Conduct regular and monthly employer check-ins and performance reviews
- Identify expansion, upsell, and renewal opportunities
- Coordinate internally to resolve issues and maintain service quality
- Maintain accurate CRM records and account reporting
Qualifications:
- 3 to 7 years of experience in account management, client success, or healthcare-related sales
- Experience with self-insured employers, brokers, TPAs, PBMs, or benefits consultants
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
